Message by Michael Beh, Organising Chairman
I wish to thank Mr Chong Him Shoong, President of KRI, for giving me the honour and the privilege to be the Organising Chairman of Century Ride 2009. This is the first time that I have been appointed as OC. Last year’s OC, Mr Cheong Yau Choy, did such an outstanding job that he has left a hard act to follow! However, I will attempt to do my best.
Due to the current economic gloom, which has not spared us in Perak, it has been very difficult to get cash sponsors for Century Ride 2009. However, we have been successful in securing plenty of sponsorship in kind. Hence our participants can expect attractive items in their Goodie Bags as well as a host of Lucky Draw prizes.
Indeed, what we lack in quantity, we hope we make up for in quality, for the benefit of our participants.
All participants receive a stylish, specially designed, good quality Finisher T Shirts, Finishing Medals and Certificates as well which has gone through stringent tests and passed with flying colours. Not to mention our carefully designed new route that will take you to one of the best scenic ride in Perak. Put on your jersey for Century Ride and watch yourself FLY!
All these for a registration fee of only RM90. We believe in giving back to our participants and I am sure you will agree that Century Ride (one and only in Malaysia), is an event that gives you exceptional value.
